Welcome to Sharon Springs' Last Resort.

I'm Nick (guy on the right). I'm an architectural designer, historic preservationist, and collector of vintage kitsch. Me and my husband Patrick purchased the Pavilion Cottages- the last barely standing vestige of the historic Pavilion resort.

Our Story

So basically...there's this weird half-abandoned mineral spa village called Sharon Springs in Upstate NY. Hidden away in a forest at the head of the village are the overgrown ruins of an abandoned resort once called "The Pavilion". Originally a sprawling hotel complex dating back to the 1830's, today only one building remains (barely) standing- the Pavilion Cottages. The cottages are 5 stick-style summer townhomes that operated individually and collectively as part of a private hotel and recreational refuge. Today they remain boarded up, hidden from the outside world, quietly being reclaimed by flora and fauna. Our goal is to stabilize and restore the Cottages, transforming and redeveloping the property into a queer-centric resort and glampground for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies.
